Parolin Motorsport completed the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Kristianstad with front-running speed in both OK and OK-Junior, as William Calleja finished 4th in OK and Gioele Girardello led the factory team in OK-Junior with 9th. Dean Hoogendoorn produced one of the strongest recovery drives of the weekend in OK before penalties dropped him to 14th, while Troy Ferguson also moved forward in the OK-Junior Final.

Ward Racing added further strong results on Parolin chassis, with Antonio Pizzonia finishing 2nd in OK-Junior, Martin Bertolaccini 6th, Gabriel Canal 5th in OK and Benjamin Manach setting a new lap record and showing race-winning pace throughout the weekend.

The Swedish round was an important preparation event before the final round of the FIA Karting European Championship at Kristianstad next weekend. Conditions were cooler than recent races, with temperatures between 19 and 22 degrees, and both categories racing on Maxxis tyres.

In OK, Calleja led the Parolin Motorsport challenge with another highly competitive weekend. After showing strong speed from Qualifying onwards and winning one of his heats, he secured 7th on the grid for the Final and fought in the leading group throughout the race. He eventually finished 4th, just off the podium, confirming his pace ahead of the European Championship round at the same circuit.

Hoogendoorn made excellent progress after a difficult Qualifying. He recovered strongly through the heats and Super Heat to start the Final from 23rd on the grid, then climbed rapidly through the field and crossed the line 2nd. Two penalties later placed him 14th in the final classification, but the pace and recovery shown across the race were clear positives.

Nicolo Cuman also reached the OK Final after a consistent weekend and finished 18th, while Giacomo Giusto qualified for the decisive race and was classified 32nd after a penalty.

Ward Racing was also very competitive in OK. Manach was fastest in Qualifying with a new lap record, won three heats, remained at the top after the heats and then won his Super Heat to secure pole position for the Final. He led the early stages before finishing 7th. Canal completed a strong weekend by finishing 5th after starting from 8th on the grid.

In OK-Junior, Girardello delivered the best result for Parolin Motorsport. He made strong progress during the heats, then recovered from 19th on the grid in the Final to finish 9th. After topping his session in Qualifying, Ferguson also moved forward well in the Final, gaining three places to finish 13th.

Albert Tamm finished 20th after another solid weekend in the category, while Alexander Lazarus and Oskari Walle both reached the Final but were unable to finish after difficult races.

The headline OK-Junior result on Parolin chassis came from Pizzonia, who finished 2nd for Ward Racing after fighting for victory throughout the Final. He had already been among the frontrunners all weekend and converted 2nd on the grid into a podium result. Bertolaccini also ran at the front for Ward Racing, briefly leading the race before finishing 6th.

“Kristianstad was a very useful weekend for us before the European Championship. The speed was strong in both categories, even if the final results did not fully reflect everything we showed. William drove a very solid race in OK, Dean made an excellent recovery from the back half of the grid, and Gioele and Troy both moved forward well in OK-Junior. Ward Racing also showed the competitiveness of the Parolin package, with Antonio on the podium, Martin in the top six, Gabriel 5th in OK and Benjamin setting the pace for much of the weekend. We now need to use this preparation well for the European Championship.”

Parolin Motorsport will remain at Kristianstad for the final round of the FIA Karting European Championship next weekend, before the Champions of the Future Euro Series concludes at Sarno from 9th to 12th September.

Parolin ended the WSK Euro Series at Cremona with major championship success across several categories, led by Qarrar Firhand (Ward Racing) securing the OK title and Elton Hedfors (Modena Kart) winning the OK-N Junior crown. The Mini U10 Championship remains subject to appeal, but all three leading contenders used Parolin chassis, while the top three in the OK-N Junior standings also raced with Parolin equipment.

On track, Blake Hsueh finished 4th in Mini U10 for Parolin Motorsport, Lenox Lockhart was 9th in Mini Gr3, Jiang Houzai (LA Motorsport) finished 2nd in KZ2, and Isaac El Haouti (BabyRace Driver Academy) won a dramatic Mini U10 Final.

The final round of the WSK Euro Series took place at the Cremona circuit in very hot conditions, with temperatures in the high 30s during the event and hot, humid weather for the Finals. Saturday’s OK and OK-Junior Prefinals were affected by rain, adding another challenge before the decisive races.

In OK, Firhand (Ward Racing) completed an exceptional championship campaign. After being fastest in Qualifying, winning all his heats and taking victory in the Prefinal, he started the Final from pole position. He finished 2nd in the race, a result that comfortably secured the WSK Euro Series title with more than twice the points of his nearest rival.

OK-N Junior also brought championship success for the Parolin package. Hedfors ran strongly throughout the weekend and finished 3rd in the Final, enough to secure the title. John McLellan (Ward Racing) finished 4th after another competitive performance, while Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart) was 7th in the Final and secured 3rd in the Championship. The result confirmed a Parolin top three in the final OK-N Junior standings, with Modena Kart and Ward Racing both contributing to the success.

Mini U10 produced one of the most dramatic races of the weekend. Burgess had been fastest in Qualifying for Parolin Motorsport and crossed the line first in the Final, but a three-second penalty dropped him to 10th on the provisional results sheet, with the decision under appeal. Hsueh, who had been fastest in his Qualifying session and won Prefinal B from pole, finished 4th after fighting at the front throughout the race. Leo Simone also reached the Final and finished 14th. The Final victory went to El Haouti, while Jayden Francisco (BabyRace Driver Academy) finished 2nd and Sasha Miras Y Munoz (BabyRace Driver Academy) was 3rd after leading the field from pole.

In Mini Gr3, Lockhart delivered the best Parolin Motorsport result, gaining six places in the Final to finish 9th. Alexandr Machac also reached the Final and finished 17th. The wider Parolin group remained strongly represented at the front, with Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace Driver Academy) finishing 3rd in the Final and ending the series as Vice-Champion, while Pedro Cueto (BabyRace Driver Academy) took 5th.

In KZ2, Houzai produced one of the strongest Final performances on Parolin equipment. After building steadily through the weekend, he started the Final from 6th and gained four places to finish 2nd, securing 4th in the Championship.

In OK-Junior, Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing) finished 7th after starting from 10th on the grid, while Max Felde (Ward Racing) was 14th after progressing well through the Prefinal.

Blake, Lenox and Alexandr also worked well for Parolin Motorsport, and Jiang’s podium in KZ2 with LA Motorsport was another excellent result. It is a strong confirmation of the competitiveness of our chassis across many categories.”

Parolin Motorsport will now turn its attention to the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Kristianstad in Sweden from 22nd to 25th July, where the team will look to carry this momentum into the next stage of the international season.

The Parolin Invader KZ chassis achieved another major international success at Sarno, where Kimi Tani (LA Motorsport) won the KZ2 Final and secured the FIA Karting European Championship title. Competing with a private team against the factory entries, Tani completed a perfect race weekend in the second and final round of the Championship, winning all five heats, his Super Heat and the Final to take the crown by 13 points.

The Sarno event took place in hot and dry conditions, with temperatures in the low thirties throughout the weekend. A total of 64 drivers competed in KZ2, while 21 lined up in KZ, with both categories racing on LeCont tyres.

Tani delivered the standout performance of the weekend on the Parolin Invader chassis. After qualifying 5th overall and 2nd in his group, he moved to the front of the field with a flawless run through the heats, winning all five races to take control of the classification. He then converted pole position in Super Heat A into another victory, giving him pole position for the Final.

With the Championship still open before the Final, Tani responded with a faultless drive. Starting from pole, he led every lap and controlled the race from the front, gradually building his advantage before winning by 2.854s. The result secured the European Championship for Tani and LA Motorsport, confirming the strength of the Parolin chassis in one of the most demanding categories in international karting.

The success also continues an exceptional record for the chassis in the gearbox classes. In the space of two years, it has now won three European titles: KZ Master and KZ in 2024, followed by the KZ2 title in 2026.

In KZ, Travisanutto completed the European Championship with another solid Final result for Parolin Motorsport. Racing in the professional gearbox category, he finished 9th in the official classification at the end of a competitive weekend.

With the FIA Karting European Championship for KZ and KZ2 now complete, Parolin Motorsport and its partner teams can take great confidence from another major European title for the Parolin Invader chassis and the continued competitiveness of their gearbox programme. The focus will now move towards the FIA Karting World event for KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Master, which will take place at Le Mans in France in mid-September.
