Parolin Motorsport completed the final round of the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta with another highly competitive weekend across the categories, capped by Zayne Burgess securing the Mini U10 championship after finishing 2nd in the Final. The factory team also celebrated a strong OK result through Dean Hoogendoorn, who climbed to 5th in the Final, while the wider Parolin group added further headline success with Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart) winning in OK-N Junior, Nahyl El Gahoudi (Team BabyRace) taking victory in Mini Gr3 and Sasha Miras Y Munoz (Team BabyRace) winning in Mini U10.

Burgess once again led the charge for Parolin Motorsport in Mini U10. After qualifying 2nd, winning all three heats and taking 2nd in his Prefinal, he delivered another assured performance in the Final to finish 2nd and seal the championship. Johan Berger also impressed in the same category, recovering strongly from 12th in Qualifying to finish 2nd in his Prefinal after showing excellent pace through the weekend.

In OK, Hoogendoorn confirmed his front-running speed once more. After taking pole position and showing the pace to fight at the front throughout the weekend, he recovered from a difficult Sunday morning to gain five places in the Final and finish 5th. Parolin chassis were also strongly represented by Ward Racing, with Qarrar Firhand taking 2nd in the Final and Benjamin Manach finishing 6th after both had shown winning potential during the event.

OK-Junior brought a fighting performance from the factory squad. Gioele Girardello and Oskari Walle both ran at the front of the Final after excellent Sunday performances had put them 2nd and 3rd on the grid respectively, but incidents in the race left them 20th and 26th at the finish. Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing) nevertheless emerged from the weekend as OK-Junior champion after being part of the lead group in the Final before dropping back following contact. Giacomo Giusto produced one of the strongest recoveries of the weekend, gaining 19 places in the Final to finish 11th. In KZ2, Lorenzo Travisanutto added another top-10 result for the factory team with 8th place in the Final.

Mini Gr3 brought more proof of the strength of the Parolin package. Alexandr Machac showed strong speed for Parolin Motorsport, qualifying 5th and improving to 4th after the Prefinals, although he was unfortunate not to convert that pace into a stronger Final result. The category was won by Nahyl El Gahoudi (Team BabyRace), while Filippo Frigerio (Team BabyRace) finished 2nd, Mauro Nario Urias (Team BabyRace) was 6th and Phawin Warakitsupachok (Team BabyRace) had set the fastest Qualifying time.

In OK-N Junior, Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart) gave Parolin another victory after turning a consistently strong weekend into a deserved Final win, having also won all three of his heats. Leo Laitinen (Parolin Finland) completed the podium in 3rd, Atiqa Mir (Modena Kart) finished 8th, while Elton Hedfors (Modena Kart), who had been fastest in Qualifying, crossed the line in 14th.

Marco Parolin said:

“It was a very positive way to complete the WSK Super Master Series. Zayne did an excellent job to secure the Mini U10 title for Parolin Motorsport, Dean was again very competitive in OK, and we also saw strong performances from our factory drivers in several categories. At the same time, it was very important to see Parolin chassis winning with our partner teams in OK-N Junior and the Mini classes, which confirms the quality and competitiveness of our package throughout the line-up. We leave Franciacorta proud of the work done by the factory team and all our partners during the championship.”

Parolin Motorsport now turns its attention to the next events of the 2026 season, with the team aiming to build on its strong WSK Super Master Series form as it heads into the main European season, starting with the Champions of the Future Euro Series from 1st-4th April.

Parolin Motorsport completed another highly competitive weekend in Round 4 of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato, with dry weather throughout and sunny conditions reaching 19°C on Finals day. The headline result for the factory team came in Mini U10, where Zayne Burgess converted his front-running pace into victory, while Parolin chassis also claimed wins with Benjamin Manach (Ward Racing) in OK and Filippo Frigerio (Babyrace Driver Academy) in Mini Gr3. Parolin Motorsport also added a podium in OK-Junior through Gioele Girardello, 3rd after leading early, while Alexandr Machac secured a solid 6th in Mini Gr3.

Burgess was one of the star performers of the weekend for Parolin Motorsport. After qualifying 2nd overall, taking two heat wins and finishing 2nd in the Prefinal, he delivered in the Final to take victory in Mini U10 and strengthen his position at the front. In the same category, Max Zvarich (Babyrace Driver Academy) backed up strong pace with 2nd place in the Final, while Jayden Francisco (Babyrace Driver Academy) was unfortunate not to convert his speed into a result after running in the lead battle before retiring.

In OK, Parolin chassis were victorious thanks to Benjamin Manach (Ward Racing), who led the entire Final after an assured Sunday performance. For Parolin Motorsport, William Calleja was a major contender all weekend, topping the heats standings, winning the Prefinal and setting the fastest lap in the Final, but his race ended in retirement.

OK-Junior brought another podium for the factory squad, with Girardello finishing 3rd after qualifying near the front, staying competitive through the heats and leading the early phase of the Final. Albert Tamm also reached the Final and was classified 21st after a front fairing penalty, while Oskari Walle and Juan Garciarce both saw their weekends end early in the Final. Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing) again showed strong pace across the weekend and finished 9th, which keeps him in the championship lead going into the final round.

In Mini Gr3, the category brought another win for Parolin equipment through Frigerio (Babyrace Driver Academy), while Nahyl El Gahoudi (Babyrace Driver Academy) and Phawin Warakitsuprachok (Babyrace Driver Academy) both showed strong speed at different stages of the event but could not turn it into the Final results they were capable of achieving. Machac confirmed the progress of Parolin Motorsport with a consistent run to 6th in the Final after gaining ground through the weekend.

In OK-N Junior, Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart Racing Team) delivered one of the strongest results of the weekend for the wider Parolin group with 2nd in the Final, while Leo Laitinen (Parolin Finland) climbed to 4th and Ioannis Kolovos (Modena Kart Racing Team) finished 6th after a penalty. Elton Hedfors (Modena Kart Racing Team), one of the protagonists in the title fight, was unable to start the Final.

Marco Parolin said:

“It was another very positive weekend for Parolin. We had a factory win with Zayne in Mini U10, a podium with Gioele in OK-Junior, and strong performances from William and Alexandr as well. At the same time, it was important to see Parolin chassis winning with our satellite teams in OK and Mini Gr3, and fighting at the front again in OK-N Junior – congratulations to Filippo Frigerio with Babyrace and Benjamin Manach with Ward Racing. Lonato was demanding because the standard was very high in every category, so to come away with victories, podiums and strong championship positions gives us confidence for the final round of the series.”

Parolin Motorsport now looks ahead to Round 5 of the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta on 20th-22nd March, where the team will aim to build on its momentum and add more victories and podiums across the programme.
