This hand operated front brake system has become very popular in Europe. The system allows the driver to control the front brakes independent of
the rear brake. This eliminates the need for a brake bias adjustment and allows the driver to change the bias "on the fly", definitely helpful in
wet conditions for improved kart control.
Adjustable clutch lever with angled hub
A new style clutch lever mounted to an angled hub. The new lever has a much smoother action than previous models thanks to a uniball which guides the cable. The adjustment allows the driver to find the position that suits him best. It also features a more ergonomic design and lighter weight construction. The angled hub allows for a more laid back driving position, simply a matter of preference for the driver.
Aluminium footrest
As the driving position is one of the most important issues for any pilot, the new footrest has the precious task to modify the feet position compare to the pedals ratio, allowing an easier use of gas and brake motion. The driver will feel much more confortable!
Machined from a solid piece of aluminium, it fits in the steering column triangle support and has the great value of being so quick in fittings.
Baby & Mini Motorsport sticker kit
Sporting a hot new 2007 design for the Baby & Mini bodywork, they are designed directly by mr. Albino Parolin. A special pliable material makes sticking simple, and thanks to extra thickness they will stand some “paint trading” with your racing buddies.
New eccentric
With its 14 holes metal ring, the new cam nearly doubles the chassis regulations in camber and caster. The Ackerman geometry can be adjusted improving the accurancy and exactness of the kart setting. In the event of collision, it better allows to correct the aligment than its 8 holes counterpart.
Mini brake system
The new brake system for Mini chassis borrows its caliper from the eldest FK unit, improving the application of brakes and the modulation of the pedals. It is hydraulic, self adjusting with a special steel brake rotor.
New stub axles KZ1, KZ2 and DD2
Despite their massive looks, increased stiffness and the unique changable axles, these are still remarkably lighter than their predecessors. They are designed especially to be used in gearbox equipped karts where the corner speeds are higher and in extremely grippy conditions with soft compound, hard sidewall racing tyres. Developed by our racing department, they will result in lower tyre wear and will definitely ease the setup work through the possibility of changing to either harder or softer axles in a fraction of time, as no removing of parts from the chassis is required. All the required tools and hubs are of course available from Parolin Racing Kart.
